Setup Intune/EndPoint Manager for Visual Studio

Sample installation for bringing the Visual Studio Installer to the front end user context.

Install Command Used for Visual Studio is:

EG_EndPointTools.exe /watchforsubprocess:"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\Installer\setup.exe" /userwtscommandline:"VisualStudioSetup.exe"

Once the initial VisualStudioSetup.exe run, it then shells off to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\Installer\setup.exe"

The /watchforsubprocess parameter specifically looks for this running and waits for the process to terminate before it continues.

 

 

Running the installer via Company Portal in users session.
